If you want your child to be formed in the faith, you need to make sure they 1) pray and share their faith at home, 2) participate in the Mass, and 3) attend Sunday Faith Formation Classes. If your child brings home a handout from class, spend a few minutes talking with him or her about it. It may lead to some interesting conversations! If they have these opportunities both at home and at class to grow in their faith, they are more likely to receive Confirmation in high school, and remain Catholic after they leave home.
All English- language classes start at 9:30 am and end at 10:45 am on Sunday mornings unless we notify you otherwise. All Spanish - language classes start at 11:00 am and end at 12:15 pm on Sunday mornings unless we notify you otherwise.
Please drop-off and pick-up your children in person at the classroom door. Park behind the school to avoid congestion in the church parking lot between Masses.
FIRST PENANCE AND FIRST EUCHARIST
Children grades 2 and higher, who have one year of prior Faith Formation, may prepare to receive First Penance, and First Eucharist. If your child is just beginning their faith formation, enroll them in our classes and wait until next year to receive these sacraments.
TO REGISTER FOR FAITH FORMATION:
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our children and youth programs. We need at least 50 volunteers—teens to retired persons to serve as catechists, aides, Sunday assistants, Jr. high and Sr. high leaders, and event helpers.
We are asking all families to volunteer this year. We need two volunteer assistants in each classroom every Sunday. There is a place for everyone to help in our programs. Thank you!
